I translate documents for visa applications from Thai to English or English to Thai, All documentation must be translated in English if you wish to obtain for the UK Visa.
One of the most common problems I have encountered being a consultant is the language barrier between Thai and British. When it comes to obtaining a visa this is a big problem, as the UK visa and immigration (Home Office) is one of the strictest immigration in the world, in other words, your application has to be perfect to stand a chance of obtaining a visa.

Writing letters is not as simple as you might think when you have to match the home office criteria they are extremely specific in what they expect. You must provide the relevant information and details regarding your circumstances and personal relationships details. The letter should not be too long but it should contain all the revealing information. This includes refusal application when you wish to reapply again, you must address any issues on your previous application first before you focus on your current circumstances.
